Mindful Fitness™: Is the practice of tuning into our bodies’ sensory perceiving functions while performing specific athletic and artistic tasks measurable results that promote spatial awareness and total health.

SGS proprietary curriculum is designed for participants to achieve new thresholds in mental fitness and functional flexibility by expanding the field of awareness in complex motivational environments. These passive calisthenics,   ‘Acoustic Agility’, encourage each participant to master his/her own sensory network by tuning into active stimulus at a very specific level.

Example: as the user slows and refines performance pace s/he is forced to recognize the most minute sensations. S/He comes to understand that each “sensory access point” has its own sensory tools that may be utilized/observed after the participant’ sustains this heightened focus level. The new expanded field  of awareness can be accessed and manipulated instantaneously, while this sate is maintained. Essentially, inducing this expansive state of awareness, the participant is highly motivated to acknowledge her growth in real time WITHOUT being distracted.

Example II: To stimulate new awareness, SGS intentionally slows participants functional movement speed, divides the working activity area, and introduces dynamic distraction modules (including visual, audible, esteem oriented et al) while performing a given task.  To succeed he/she must first defeat the distraction(s), then maintain poise while applying strategy to the performance task. The user is now highly motivated to acknowledge a new threshold to perform well in various pressure environments.

Example III: Regardless of the playing-field or projectile at-hand, the human body maintains its original functionalities, allowing for tremendous crossover value when certain universal concepts of movement are applied, like Transfer During Learning (Souza). Effectively the brain recalls muscle stimulus that it recognizes as similar to the new experience, and then meshes them to the same group of cognitive and physiological tools.
